The ocean is our world’s greatest wonder.
On June 8 we will join organizations from all over the world, including the United Nations, to celebrate World Ocean Day! This year’s theme is WONDER: Sustaining what sustains us. This World Ocean Day, we’re celebrating the ocean’s essential wonder—the beauty it holds, the life it sustains, and the imagination it sparks. Let’s keep that wonder at the heart of the choices we make to protect it. We hope that FathomVerse inspires a sense of wonder and curiosity in you! Find a World Ocean Day event near you

NEW DATA IN FATHOMVERSE!
FathomNauts, we have a new dive from Schmidt Ocean Institute's ROV SuBastian!
🗺️ This dive took place in December 2018 on the shelf break of the southwest coast of Costa Rica.
🟢 You might recognize this dive from the green tinge to the images.
📈 This dive entered all the classification mini-games last week and we’ve already reached 60% consensus! Holy cowfish!
🪸There are still plenty of predicted actiniarians (though at a glance the AI may be mistaking some stony corals), bony fishes, sea cucumbers, and shrimps to discover in this dive.
