Join Monterey Bay Aquarium, MBARI, and FathomVerse as we cozy up to the ocean’s hidden wonders all month long with these daily deep-sea inspired art prompts.

Let the unique beauty of this extraordinary ocean ecosystem spark inspiration as the days turn dark and chilly. Dive into these prompts and create daily art in any medium–digital, ink, sculpture, tattoos, macaroni art, or whatever calls to you from the depths.

These open-ended prompts are designed to inspire a new art piece each day of the month. We encourage you to participate in the way that works best for you, whether you create one piece or 31! We’ll also post the daily prompts on Monterey Bay Aquarium’s story each morning.
